Description
We are seeking Senior Backend Engineers to join the team of one of the largest names in the U.S. collectibles and memorabilia industry. This is an ongoing opportunity, open only to exceptional engineers.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer
- Willingness to work with Elixir and Golang (prior knowledge is not required)
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience coding with AI agents (e.g. Cursor/Claude) is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and cross-functional environment

WORK CONDITIONS
- Employment Type: We welcome both employees and freelancers (but won't consider subcontracting agencies). Full-time employee candidates must currently reside in Greece.
- Location: This is a fully remote position. However, candidates who prefer a hybrid model have the option to work from offices in Thessaloniki.
- Compensation: We consider each candidate's compensation expectations, which we ask for during the application process. The final selection is based on a combination of qualifications, experience, and salary/rate. Working Days: Aligned with the standard Greek work schedule, including Greek public holidays, even for freelancers (totaling approximately 220-225 working days per year).
